Hello once again? If anyone is even looking at this blog, welcome! Since I have absolutely no idea what to write about I’ll just talk more about my hobbies besides art. Well get ready and strap in because its going to be a mess!
I love video games. There is a lot of different games I’ve played over the years on the computer and other various consoles, but I’ve always loved playing Pokemon. I went on a break from it, but people saying the newer gens were cool, so I’ve bought myself a 2DS and Pokemon Y (the one with the red eagle?). Then eventually the Pokemon Moon. I had a blast playing it and it was a wonderful revisiting Pokemon!
While on the subject of childish Hobbies, I am pretty much addicted Yu-Gi-Oh. For those of you who don’t know, its a card game with strategy and such. I’ve used to collect the more cool or weird cards as a kid, but now I actually play, but with just friends. Its hard to kinda hard to find people in real life to duel against, but there is always friends. I was hoping my friend and I can find a local card shop to go to beat some people, so that’s in my why-not-try-it list.
Next moving onto less nerdy hobbies, airsofting. It’s really fun to run around and shoot your friends! That probably sounds terrible out of context, but I swear I am innocent! I usually use my friend’s guns because theirs are better, but this spring break I bought one off my friend who is way too into it. He even has a YouTube channel haha. (TheCollinization) His videos are usually pretty funny. It’s a fun thing to do occasionally and If you’re interested you should check it out! They usually have rentals too, although it might be a little bit pricey. But if you’re trying it once w/e right? This is me in some gear. It’s a terrible photo, but its the only one I have xD
Camping is great! Something about sleeping outside is exciting, but terrifying and I love it. Also, the part with people and just talking and random shit you do while you camp. During spring break, couple of my friends and I went camping at Joshua Tree and it was great. A lot of big rocks and weird trees. (very descriptive I know xD) During the night it was really cold and I was not prepared for that. By morning my tent was covered in ice, so 3 of my friends basically climbed a hill and waited for that glorious sun to come and bathe us in that warm sunlight. (That sounds weird, but we were miserable from the cold and we really wanted the sun haha). That small orange speck is our tent in the picture.
Finally, filming/theater. Not as an actor, but more as behind the scenes peeps. Of course none that I helped or got paid for was Oscar or Broadway, but it was cool either way. Both have long excruciating hours of work, but it’s fun talking to your crew and all. For film I’ve done all sorts of stuff like sound, grip, and being an extra (aw yeee). For theater, I did pretty much the same thing as film actually. Sound and general crew stuff. I couldn’t really find good Photos of when I did theater, but I have some of the films.
Here is the time where I had to reset a dead body every time we had to re-shoot the shot. Not as interesting as you’ve expected at first, but funny either way. Also, I think this is my profile picture?
We’re going to jumping around haha. I still don’t know how to format these Blogs. Anyways this is one of the interesting photos from the my theater jobs. I am walking on a grid above the house. I’ve been on a higher one, but on those I was nervous to even get on it with my phone haha.
Back to filming! This is just one of the shots from the set. It’s shot in a garage, so we had limited space. Also, it was the summer and with all those lights it was super hot in there. But we all have to stay there to get the perfect shot haha.
Thanks for reading! If you have questions or w/e just leave a comment. I downloaded the WordPress app. It notifies me when someone does something on my blog, so I’ll probably be able to get a response to you pretty fast. Have a nice day peeps.
